PADI Emergency First Response (EFR)

Before you start your PADI Rescue Course, you need to be medically trained in basic First Aid & CPR. If you completed medical training previously, the course needs to be recognized and valid within the last 24 months.

  • PADI EFR First-Aid Course

If not, we can offer the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary care course which meets the PADI First Aid pre-requisite for the PADI Rescue Diver, PADI Divemaster and PADI Instructor courses.

The EFR course is scheduled over 1 day. We are totally flexible and can plan this around your personal timeframe.

Most commonly, EFR courses are conducted on the day prior to a PADI Rescue Diver course starting.

Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency.

Course participants learn simple steps to follow for emergency care. You will practice applying skills in a nonstressful learning environment.

EFR courses are supported by self-study manuals and videos that will enhance your learning experience.
